My Dog Bit Me..

The original e-mail I received about this issue was from a customer who owned a Rottweiler. His dog bit him when he moved towards his child, one evening. This was unusual behavior from the dog, since he was four years-old and had never displayed aggression, previously.

My recommendation was to first take the dog to the veterinarian to make sure that there were no health problems that may be causing the aggression. Here is the e-mail I got back, in response:

Dear Adam:

I took him to the vet and as it turns out he had a very bad infection in both his ears. I have had him as a pup and he has had several ear infections in the past and usually shows signs by shaking his head a lot.

He showed no signs of having an ear infection this time. He is usually very submissive and like I told you before he never has shown any aggression toward anyone. I told the vet what had happened and they said that the bite could have happened due to this very serious double ear infection.

I have been administrating the drops and he seems to be the same old dog with no signs of aggression like before. I want to thank you for your email and the tapes I purchased from you work very good as well.

My mastiff puppy is responding very well with your tapes and book. She has not left my front yard since I used your boundary training technique that you offer.
