5. Correctional Aids Need to be Handy
Your correctional aids help to you be able to react quickly and correct unacceptable behavior without getting yourself bitten. A few good corrections are lemon juice in a squirt bottle, a crate, a collar and leash, and a water hose or pot of water.
6. Give Clear Corrections
Make sure your corrections are clear. If your dog is acting aggressively, you can shake his collar and then confine him for an hour in his crate. If your dog is trying to bite you, squirt him in his mouth with the lemon juice and he will back away.
